The propose of the data processing for the metal mineral geochemical prospecting is searching for the geochemical anomaly. By analyzing the data of component for various elements in the mining area, content data, we are to found the unusual region of the element, explain and evaluate the anomaly. With the searching for the underlying and blind mineral getting more and more complex, the difficulty of the searching work is increasing, it has a higher request for the data processing.The traditional multi-statistical analysis method has the good effect in the metal mineral data processing, the samples have tens of elements, and its characteristic of pluralism accord with multi-statistical analysis method. But, the geologic variable has space attribute, is not a plane, the random variable theory of the statistical analysis can not express the spatial characteristic. Therefore, using kriging to estimate can avoid the system error and increase the forecasting precision.The thesis is to write for the data processing and the explanation work in the Linwang mineral distract in the Guangxi province. By the multi-statistical analysis method and the kriging method, we explain the anomaly for the elements in the mineral area, and compare with the two methods to make supplements.By the correlation analysis, the cluster analysis and the factor analysis for the 13 elements, gold, silver, arsenic, tungsten and hydrargyrum are related closely, is an element combination, and play an very important role in the anomaly explanation. By the prediction map, we can forecast the gold element's unusual target area.Using kriging and cokriging to process the data, and compare with the two methods. The kriging is limited to the single variable. The variogram obtains the geometry isotropic characteristic, and choose the spherical model to estimate, the ordinary kriging forecasts the gold element and get the higher prediction map which is approximately close with the gold element unusual chart. The cokriging method has the characteristics both pluralism and spatiality, and accord with the characteristic of the Geochemical data. Using cokiging method to processing, the coordination variable as gold, silver, arsenic, tungsten and hydrargyrum which is an element combination, predicts the unusual and get the higher prediction result. Compared to the gold element map, the gold anomaly is distributed in the northeast, some small distracts is distributed in the mineral area, the main anomaly distract is in the middle by east of the mineral area and can be the emphasis prospecting area. So, cokiging method can increase the estimating precision and narrow the target area. Using the multi-statistical analysis and kriging to process the data, we can get a more accurate results.
