The Dixi area locates in the dinan hill, which is in the eastern Luliang Uplift of the Junggar Basin drops.Many high gas rate wells have been found in the Carboniferous volcanic rocks, which is showing a good exploration prospects. Meanwhile, the complexity of volcanic reservoirs, and the diversity of its controlling factors hindered the pace of further exploration.Aiming at the recent problems in the exploration, on the basis of previous studies and according to the available exploration data to find favorable exploration targets for the ultimate goal, this paper comprehensively used geological, logging and seismic research method to study the distribution of Carboniferous volcanic rocks, volcanic rocks within the sequence, volcanic reservoir characteristics, seismic reservoir studies and identification of favorable exploration targets in the Dixi area.The results show that, the Carboniferou reservoirs of Dixi area are most the intermediate volcanic rocks, second is the Acidic volcanic rocks, individual is the basic volcanic rocks; According to the seismic stratigraphic features of the Junggar Basin, batayineisha group of the Dixi's Carboniferous was divided into central C2b2, and the lower volcanic section C2b1; Carboniferous volcanic rocks has a basc-acidic cycle from bottom to top. A regional volcanic gas reservoirs and traps caused by the volcanic edifice constructed unconformity positive control, traps were developed in the unconformity below the hills above the fire in the acid, the majority of traps are not close to Unconformity structural traps, most of the gas reservoir is to construct a lithologic trap gas reservoir, is a small amount of volcanic gas reservoirs within the lithologic traps; Geological dip under the constraints identified in the acidic properties are mound-shaped volcanic body effective properties. The 3-D seismic inversion is a effective method to identify and predict reservoirs, which is constrained of the Identification of volcanic rocks in Well Logging,the Natural gamma and the Porosity Logging.Based on the results of analysis to explore the favorable exploration target, providing accurate direction for further exploration of the Dixi area.
