Deformation monitoring is an important way to monitor the deformation safe or not, the main task is to obtain the deformation information by deformation monitoring, then analysis the deformation information and judge the security situation of deformable body. GPS positioning technology, as a new leading-edge technology, has greater advantages than conventional measurement techniques, along with the GPS system of continuous improvement and deepening of its people, GPS technology has become the main means of deformation monitoring. Using GPS technology in deformation monitoring can reduce the workload outsiade, improve efficiency, so that it can receive the maximum economic benefits. Therefore, the study of using GPS technology to monitor deformation and deformation data processing has important theoretical and practical significance.Basing on discussing the therory of GPS positioning,This paper analyzes various error sources and accuracy of effect on the impact of GPS deformation monitoring and the corresponding weakening or elimination of measures, and summarizes the GPS deformation monitoring applications in the advantages and disadvantages and monitoring mode; the same time also introduces the GPS deformation monitoring of the technical design, focusing on GPS data processing and monitoring network adjustment as well as more uniform basis of monitoring data. Finally, with monitoring data to predict the deformation modeling, paper focuses on introducing BP neural network model, and applied it to an engineering example, compares its predictive value with other commonly used forecasting model predictions,We can have some more practical conclusions drawn.
