Natural gas hydrate as a new, clean, potential energy sources, more and more drawn worldwide attention of scientists, research on gas hydrate further, In 2007, China succeeded in the northern of South China Sea drilling in- kind of gas hydrate samples, up to hundreds of million tons of oil equivalent. If development and utilization, it will be very importance for our country's follow-up energy supply and socio-economic sustainable development.Submarine natural gas hydrate formation and reservoirs environmental is a very complex system, Because of lack of first-hand field information, our country did not do much seabed natural gas hydrate formation and reservoir environmental research before. Based on acoustic communication technology, interface technology, software technology, and integration of defferent kinds of natural gas hydrate formation and reservoir environmental monitoring sensors, and R&D natural gas hydrate formation and reservoirs monitoring system, various data transmission through wireless transmitted to the acoustic deck system, we can build a comprehensive deep-seabed three-dimensional marine environment monitoring system. In order to improve our country's natural gas hydrate in-depth research, exploration, development and other technology to provide a new level of technical support, In order to improve our country's natural gas hydrate exploration equipments and technology, and in order to enhance international competitiveness in the field of natural gas hydrate, to lay a solid foundation for future development. This project results have broad application prospects and the market prospects.Submarine natural gas hydrate formation and reservoirs environmental monitoring system mainly consists of 4 parts: deck control unit, data processing unit, acoustic communication unit, and mooring system. The monitoring system's data processing unit is composed of low power CPU motherboard, analog serial data acquisition sub-module, digital extended interface, and related software control programs. The acoustic communication unit is based on underwater acoustic modem's wireless remote control technology, development of automatic wireless data acquisition and control subsystem, implementation of remote control underwater central data processing unit on board, and completion of data accumulation and automatic upload of the seabed natural gas hydrate formation and reservoirs environmental monitoring system. The reliability and stability of mooring system unit is based on the performance of acoustic unit , so we need use good acoustic release device to develop high reliability seabed mooring subsystem for safe recovery the mornitoring instrument and sensors. .
