Time-lapse seismic(4D seismic) techniques is a leading geophysical method which is being developed over the last decades. It is used to monitor hydrocarbon reserves within producing reservoirs in an endeavour to improve overall recovery. However, in many ways, This method is used to be distinguished the seismic response from all other effects. Marine seismic data are usually sparsely sampled at times. In this method,Intermittent time-lapse seismic data acquisition and processing, particularly in marine streamer acquisition mode of the time shift for the exploration technology, is difficult to ensure complete duplication of the two collection. Especially due to advances in technology, new duplicate of the original earthquake earthquakes can not use the same capture device. Seismic data resulted in inconsistencies in different seismic data.In time-lapse seismic data processing, a series of measure should be taken in order to analysis the consistent and difference of the data. The inconsistent factors always existed in practical time-lapse seismic data, and four aspects mainly came out time-delay of signal, energy difference of signal, bandwidth difference of signal and phase difference. In order to remove or reduce the inconsistent factors, there is a method of cross equilibration techniques in time-lapse seismic data processing. In order to remove or reduce the inconsistent factors, there are four crossequilibration techniques in time-lapse seismic data processing: The paper introduced the four equilibration techniques and used them for data processing combining with time-lapse seismic data. The research results have been more work area in the South China Sea has been successfully applied for the subtle reservoir offshore oil exploration and development to provide a certain basis. According to this research, We can use it to monitor the underground reservoir of oil and gas due to production caused by changes in water saturation, seismic response, in order to determine the distribution of remaining oil and change.
