After the Wenchuan earthquake, the topographic feature of the disaster region has experienced great changes, which in turn has led to changes in land cover, land use and pattern of this certain area. Changes of land use is an important aspect of land research, it is also a key factor in revealing regional economic development, ecological safety and food security; its research is of significant value. Research of landscape structure is the refinement of LUCC research. The research on landscape patterns deepens and details LUCC research, which studies from the perspective of landscape ecology, combines with regional land use, to evaluate regional changes in the landscape and the landscape pattern index value to determine the ecological safety of the regional landscape. In this article, IKONOS Remote Sensing Images of both before and after the earthquake are adopted to make land use Classification images. On the basis of these images, analysis of data is conducted. The main results and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the regional LUCC research, it can be concluded that the land use intensity is relatively low and the dynamic degree of overall land use is very high. The region is in a fast land use growth process. Phenomenon of construction sites occuping field land and hills appears during the researching period. And at the same time the earthquake exerts great effect on the land use of this region; 12.5% of the transform of land use types can be seen as concerned with the earthquake.(2)Conducting research into transform of landscape structure. Consider the situation of the research area, remote sensing images based on local land use can be used instead of traditional surveying. After the earthquake, the patch scale of local landscape structure experienced great changes, and the change direction was all the same. These phenomena all suggested that the landscape fragmentation was increasing and the landscape integrity was harmed. Landscape diversity is serious damaged because of the earthquake, and is now below the minimum value of the positive figures of every year. Landscape homogeneity also declined to some degree, but the overall situation was good.(3) according to the analysed data, an ecologic network plan map is developed to rehabilitate regional landscape. Meanwhile, based on different landscape types and different effects of the earthquake, corresponding landscape rehabilitation suggestions are also put forward.
