Urban Land Grading is a key element of the survey and evaluation of land resources. It is an important basic operations under the management of land and resources of China's national conditions in densely. To determine the level of urban land scientifically and reasonably will help to promote the efficient allocation of land resources and the rapid development of local economy. With the rapid development of computer technology, especially the emergence of a variety of GIS software, the use of computer systems for the aid came into the land Grading. This approach improves the accuracy and speed of classification to ensure the scientific and practical results.This paper took the town of lanjiang in suining as an example, on the basis of the experience and achievements of ancestors, combined the condition of lanjiang town, use the way of multiple factors,build goal system, and build land grading database,divide grading unit, analyze the causes of grading, count the total grade of effects, divide the grade of land, and complete commercial land class of lanjiang town.This research use vector data to be the grading data, use grid data to achieve grading unite dividing. First get scores of each grading factors made to grading unit, then add out total effects of relating each unit and divide the grade of land, according to it.The following research was done in this process:1.The basic theory, this paper based on the development of city land grading, the basic theory way of city land grading, and the use of the technology of GIS in the land grading, influenced city land quality.2. Database planning. build commercial land class database of lanjiang town, based on the use of the ArcGIS.3.Space analysis. Talk about how to divide grading unit and the way of getting each score through space analysis and the use of GIS. it boil down to the following concrete research:the dividing of grading unit, the grade of effects of commercial service, the currency of road and so on. develop the grading process into building model, on the basis of space analysis and grading process. 4. Analysis and dealing of special problems in the process of grading. Such as the effect that barriers made on the land grading, the effect that planning factors made on grading, and so on.Through a series of research, The significance of this paper is to improve the degree of automatic and science, based on the research of the way of city land grading, using the technique of GIS.GIS has strong function, and can contend the need of land grading work in different degree, this paper illustrates the importance of ArcGIS grid space analysis technique to town land grading,through the analysis of the use of grid space analysis technique.
