The uncertain multi-attribute decision making problems consists mainly of linguistic type, interval-value type and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The paper mainly studies the methods of multi-attribute decision making based on linguistic type and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. It consists of three chapters. In chapter 1, we first introduce the origin and current research situations of decision making methods based on linguistic type and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Then we list the main contributions of this paper. In chapter 2, For linguistic multi-attribute decision making problems where the decision information is given by linguistic terms and there exists a prioritization relationship between the attributes, we first propose a prioritized 2-tuple ordered weighted averaging (PTOWA) operator and discuss its properties. Furthermore, we extend the operator into the environment of uncertain linguistic information and a linguistic multi-attribute decision making method is given based on PTOWA operator. Using the proposed operator to aggregate the linguistic multi-attribute decision making problem, we can consider sufficiently the prioritization relationship between the attributes. In chapter 3, For multi-attribute group decision making problems, in which the attribute values are expressed in intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, a new methods of determining the experts' weights are proposed. By using the cross entropy and entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, the experts'weights can be obtained, respectively. Then the final weights can be calculated by the weighted combination method. Furthermore, a new multi-attribute group decision making method is given. Finally, an illustrative example shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methods.
