Seismic Monitoring System can obtain the three key principles of an earthquake such as time magnitude and epicenter. But it's not very enough for the disaster evaluation and emergency support. And it's necessary to get more detailed information (such as earthquake intensity intensity of ground motion) for the disaster evaluation. At present, lots of countries and areas have established Intensity Quick Report Systems. Geographic Information System (GIS) technology plays an important role in sorts of fields, having becoming an effective tool in the field of disaster prevention and reduction engineering and protective engineering. In this paper, comprehensive and systemic efforts are devoted to studying the Intensity Quick Report and establishing the Intensity Quick Report Based on GIS.(1)Establish the Intensity Quick Report System Base on GIS.It makes plenty use of Arc Engine module and object-oriented to code program. Rely on China Strong Motion Net and JinSha River Strong Motion Net, Study the interrelated methods of the Earthquake Intensity and design an object-oriented GIS software.(2)Study the method of generating ShakeMapI fully analyze the process of generating ShakeMap, such as the method of choosing attenuation discipline the method of computing the distance of fault the estimation of the peak ground acceleration of non-station area the correction of the obtained record and the method of computing the intensity of instrument.(3)Build an abundant space database for Strong Motion Net and attenuation discipline database in all the commercial cities of China.I summarize the attenuation discipline in all the commercial cities of China and establish a database system. The software System chooses the peak ground acceleration (PGA) and intensity attenuation discipline through the menus in the toolbar. I also store Strong Motion Data and interrelated information in every earthquake. These materials are very important for sharing data of the Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology.(4) Implement quick report on the most important area relay on Jinsha River Strong Motion Net.I compute the results of the peak ground acceleration and intensity of the dam, and then send the messages to the decision-making sectors for the first moments.(5)Put forward a new method and a new correspondence measure in macro-intensity investigation.According to the authoritative and normative investigation content, I design a module for the collecting data in earthquake scene, based on JAVA. It's very useful for the quick assist at the first moments after a big shock. And It can also save lots of time for draw the intensity distributed graph and the intensity isoseismic line graph.
