China is one of the most vulnerable nations of earthquake in the world. We shouldtherefor take the quick report of seismic intensity and earthquake early warning to protect usfrom destructive earthquake casualties and economic loss. The system of the urban intensityreport can provide us scientific basis for rescue, and effectively reduce secondary disasterlosses[1-3]. The earthquake data collection and transmission system, the most important partwhich influences the stability of getting the intensity distribution quickly. This topic putforward one kind of schemes to design strong earthquake data acquisition and Ethernettransmission, and analyzed it.The paper puts forward the design conception of the urban intensity report system. We cantake flexible data transmission to make instruments work stably in different geographicalenvironment. According to this topic, we also use analog MEMS accelerometer to detectseismic signal, Σ-Δ ADC to convert the analog signal, and Ethernet for data transmission tobuild the system of the urban intensity report. We have study the working principle of thecapacitive accelerometer, discussed data conversion principle of the Σ-Δ ADC, and introducedworking of the Ethernet. After introducing basic principles of the hardware design, expoundsthe performance characteristics of each chip. Introducing the circuit of the accelerometer, A/Dconverter, the physical equipment, GPS, and serial ports. Introduced the program of the A/Dsampling, and the Ethernet communication. Focusing on the hardware and softwareimplementation process about A/D three-channel collection of seismic signal withSTM32F107.This system implemented three channels of seismic data acquisition and data transmissionby Ethernet. The hardware is open and expansibility, and the program is also good fortransplantation. It is cost-effective. And it is important value to the system of urban intensityreport. On the basis of the test results, the thesis advances the improvement suggestions, whichestablishes and benefits the future progress of urban intensity quick report.
