Highway construction and development is an important symbol of a country's economic development and social progress. Because of it's strong transport capacity, higher speed and outstanding safety, it plays an important role in the aspects of realization of comprehensive utilization of resources, social stability, economic development, reducing regional differences and so on. As a result, countries in the world are striving to develop highway. Since the reform and opening up, our nation spared great efforts for the highway construction, just a few decades, the development of highways has made great achievements. However, it's regional development is very unbalance, the basic of highway network has been set up in the eastern parts of our country, but the central and western parts lag behind. In recent years, our country began to focus on the developing of western part, highway construction also entered the central and western mountains, because of their complex of terrain and geology, frequent geological disasters appeared caused by highway construction, the most serious is landslide.The national highway network Shiyan-Tianshui tie-line G7011 is an important line in the overall planning, contacting a number of vertical highway. It runs through the Qinling and Bashan Mountains, in this area, terrain is undulating and geology is extremely complex. Highway construction caused large amounts of geological disasters. Huangjiapo landslide is one large landslide of the disasters. Basised on the Huangjiapo landslide, analyzing it's situation and the reasons for landslide, combining the common methods used in landslide, then seek the economically viable, scientific and reasonable method for landslide treatment. At the same time, monitoring of landslide is necessary.On the discussing and analyzing of topography and causes of the landslide, with the current scientific and stable method of landslide monitoring, following the principle of landslide monitoring to determine the projects of landslide monitoring, Select the appropriate monitoring equipments, develop a detailed landslide monitoring program. After monitoring program development, implement it associated with the landslide control construction. By monitoring, we can obtain the corresponding data, seek appropriate treatment for the data of Surface deformation, Deep displacement, Height of groundwater, Pore water pressure and Piles so as to get the scientific and intuitive results, provide data management support and scientific basis for the construction safety, design changes. Also we can examine the quality control project, make a preliminary evaluation of treatment effect, grasp the dynamics of landslide after operation, provide data to support for highway operations safety, personal and property safety. Avoid or reduce disaster losses.
