Mainly focusing on low mature coal-measure source rock of southwest Shandong uplift from Carboniferous-Permian, this article has found the differences of three coal-measure source rocks in characteristics of hydrocarbon generation, potential of natural gas generation, and kinetics by hydro-thermal-pressure simulation experiment.Dark mudstone has a better oil generation potential than coal and carbonaceous shale, mudstone of Taiyuan Formation has higher oil productivity than which of Shanxi Formation. Dark mudstone has higher gas productivity than coal rock and carbonaceous shale, and that of coal-measure source rock in Shanxi Formation is higher than that in Taiyuan source rock. The apparent activation energy of coal is higher than the carbonaceous shale or the dark mudstone whether in Shanxi Formation or Taiyuan Formation, which means the carbonaceous shale or dark mudstone, has a higher potential than coal to generate the gaseous hydrocarbon.According to kinetic parameters, it has been built a chemical kinetic model of secondary hydrocarbon to C-P coal and coal-measure mudstone. Considering with the buried history curve, it has been got the relation curves of productivity of hydrocarbon and geologic time, which will be more precise to calculate the productivity of secondary hydrocarbon generation. The productivity of secondary hydrocarbon generation of Shenxian sag are 2.78 1012m3.
