With the rapidly developing of China's national economy, the use of chemicals is increasing, and the corresponding accident rates are also rising, which has become widespread concern in today's world's environmental and safety issues. Aiming at these problems, the best way to solve is that, integrate Ningbo's major hazardous chemicals attribute information, spatial information and the leakage diffusion model of dangerous chemicals, develope the Geographic Information System of Ningbo City's spatial distribution of hazardous chemicals and leakage hazards simulation. The main research contents of this paper is the spatial distribution information of the dangerous chemicals and the corporations, using Bernoulli's equation and the Gaussian plume diffusion model to simulate the spread of the dangerous chemical and in case spills occurs, making accurate predictions of harm leakage area timely, quickly, effectively and directly. After the statistical analysis of the major leakage-diffusion accidents, abstracting the accidents mechanism, related conditions, accidents characteristics and influencing factors. The final results of this paper is that, based on general investigation of the hazardous chemicals, analysis and simulation of the leakage-diffusion factors, derived Ningbo's dangerous chemicals spatial distribution information with such as respectively location, concentration, distribution and transport routes, and produce the spatial distribution digital map, as well as that, through analysis of varieties diffusion factors, display the scope of its spatial and temporal spread on the electronic map visually. The reseach of this paper can provide a comprehensive, system, real-time, fast and accurate information services and technical support for emergency plans, provide supports for relevant departments's supervision of dangerous chemicals, provide effective management, monitoring, analysis, statistics and disaster simulation for dangerous chemicals.
