Liaohe oilfield's high 246 block LianHua reservoir is a thick layer of heavy oil reservoirs with bottom water, which is developed by vertical wells .Due to factors like high oil-water viscosity ratio, reservoir heterogeneity, and bottom water, the present recovery is less than predict with serious waterflooding, high water cut and lower oil product rate. Comprehensive use theories of modern stratigraphy, tectonic geology, sedimentary petrology and reservoir engineering and data about drilling, logging, 3D seismic, deeply research Lianhua pay's tectonic and sedimentary characteristics, and oil-water relations, and built 3D geological model. After fine reservoir description, clarified geological characteristics and remaining oil distribution of this reservoir, and suggested an futher well-patten adjustment plan, and provided scientific basis for development.Application Effective of development plan is very well. Drilled 20 product wells of 33 desighed horizontal wells, whose average length is horizontal 290 meters and reservoir drilling rate is 93.8%.Average single oil well initial production rate is 19.5 t/d and first cycle production is 1800~2500t, which is 2 to 3 times of vertical Wells. Cumulative oil production of Fault block increased from 83t/d to 220 t/d and oil production rate rise from 0.17% to 0.45% and comprehensive water cut dropped to 58.4% from 71.2%.Recovery is expected to grow by 5% and the production of all horizontal wells can above 350t/d and increased recoverable reserves 90 x 10~4t through the ongoing development adjustment and measures.
