The Digital City Parts Information Management System Based On ArcEngine

"Digital city" is relying on information and network technology, using digital means to Processing, analysis and manage the whole city, to make the city construction and development into a new level. Implementing digital city management, can innovative the city management mode, finding and dealing with the various problems effectively in city management, finally improve the city management efficiency. The Geographic information system(GIS) is a kind of technology, that is to use the modern computer technology to manage and analysis the spatial data, it can provide important means for city management and big decision. In recent years, with the mature of GIS softwares, also provides the basic development platform for all kinds of city management systems.In this article, based on ZiGong city of SiChuan province, first we did the Digital city needs analysis and completed the overall structure design; secondly, we annlyzed the spatial data, spatial data model and spatial data layer organization, combined with the actual, we established the spatial data and attribute data's organization structure and storage ways, combined with Geodatabase model, we designned and build the spatial database and attribute database; Third, we did the design and implementation of the GIS part for the information management system, used the high-level programming language c# and ArcEngine components developed a information management platform to interact with users, realized the management of attribute data and spatial data.
