The Research And Construction Of Fuxin Fundamental Geographic Information Database Management System

The concept of "Digital Earth" proposed is drawing wide attention from many countries,"Digital City",as a composition of the "Digital Earth" emerges as the development of city informatization construction.Fundamental geospatial information database is the basis of geographical information system positioning and support for structuring the geo-spatial framework of Digital City.Quality of fundamental geospatial information database directly influences and restricts the building and developing of a series of thematic GIS.It is so critical that how to low-cost,high-quality,reasonably and effectively construct and manage fundamental geospatial information database to the sustainable development and building of geo-spatial framework of Digital City.First of all,this paper discusses the construction background,development and the current issues of fundamental geospatial information database at home and abroad,and then puts forward research contents and research methods.After that,it expounds the concept of fundamental geospatial information database in Digital City and the characteristics,contents and organization pattern that it contains and the key technique of the paper,they establish a theoretical basis for the design and construct of fundamental geospatial information database.On the basis of the above-mentioned research,the paper designs Fuxin fundamental geospatial information database and develops the management system based on Fuxin fundamental geospatial information data.This system applies C/S structure that it connects to Oracle through ArcSDE,ArcEngine as secondary development platform.It realizes data quality detecting,data preprocessing,data display,query statistics and analysis,data distribution,data dynamitic update and historic data management,metadata management,system security management etc.This system achieves quality,timeliness,reasonably application and management of Fuxin fundamental geospatial information data,which provides an effective management means to reduce investment repeatedly,redundant construction and waste of money.In the end,the paper summarizes objectivity development of this system,pointing out the achievement made of the thesis,and outlooks future research prospects of city fundamental geospatial information database management system to be perfect.
