Spring is the focus of study in this paper. Based on the collecting information, local water testing and inspection of water quality, this paper study on the thermal spring characters of isotope and element hydrogeochemistry in Daocheng, Sichuan,We research areal geology background, geologic characters, mostly hydrogeologic conditions and summarize water quality of springs, distributed characters, basic types. Used of isotope tracer technique of natural water (hydrogen and oxygen isotope compositions, tritium contents), this paper trace water origin and transportation process, and reveal recharge and discharge relationship of various water bodies and hydrogeologic units, and analyses and discusses the recharge altitude, removed patch, detained time and hydraulic connection at the springs in the research area We find out the type of terrestrial heat system, distributing conditions, the relationship of geologic conformations with terrestrial heat, existential conditions of terrestrial and cyclic system of terrestrial heat water. Finally, we evaluate terrestrial heat resource (including evaluation of medical treatment mineral water and development of travel resource), select springs which have the value of medical treatment and health care and choose the developmental areas of terrestrial heat resource. The following results have been obtained in this research:A degree areas: 1) nearby Rubu spring; 2) nearby Yongchaka spring; 3) nearby Ridong and Zhongdui springs; 4) nearby Gewa spring.B degree areas: 1) nearby Donglang and Dangrang springs; 2) nearby Chahua spring; 3) nearby Qiasi and Dangzhuo springs.
