Dynamic analysis method is very important in engineering. In this dissertation, works are researched on the modeling of structure damping, substructure mode synthesis, matrix perturbation and dynamic updating for the damped structures.On the modeling of structure damping, the character of structure damping is described in this dissertation. Then the development of structure damping is discussed. Finally a new method about structure damping modeling is introduced to identify the damping parameters of structures.On the substructure mode synthesis, a new method is presented in this dissertation. This method bases on the real decouple transformation and can be used for the general damped systems. The new development made in this method is that the substructures still have the mass, damping and stiffness matrix and the similar form of governing equations to the original ones after synthesizing.On the matrix perturbation, a new perturbation method for general damped system is developed in dissertation. By this method, one can not only get the perturbation value of frequency and model shape but also the perturbation value of model damping and model stiffness.On the dynamic updating, a new dynamic updating method for general damped system is presented. By this method, one can update mass matrix, damping matrix and stiffness matrix at the same time. Furthermore, the band shape of the mass matrix, damping matrix and stiffness matrix is kept after updating.For each aspect discussed in this dissertation, there is a numerical example to prove the conclusions.
