Geochemical Analysis And Research On The Relation Between Elements And Organic Matter And Light Hydrocarbon In Sediment Of No.184 Voyage Of ODP In South China Sea

At present, with the rapid development of our national economy, our country is facing up with more and more austere energy crisis day by day, but combination gas resource on land is drying up after being exploited for several decades. It has become a very exigent problem how to find out and make use of oil resource in ocean. Through the study on various elements in sediment of drilling core that No 184 voyage of International Ocean Drilling Project acquired, the sediment environment and matter source, the rule of content change of various elements, and the indication elements and phase state of organic matter and light hydrocarbon in sediment are studied. The study of paper is of great importance of theory and reality.No 184 Voyage of International Ocean Drilling Project (ODP) is the first voyage in South China Sea. The sites of ODP-184 are from 1143 to 1148. There are 3 sites in the south of SCS and 3 sites in the north of SCS. Site 1146 is the main site studied in the paper.The site 1146 is located within a small prerift basement, at 19° 27.40' N, 116° 16.37' E, at a water depth of 2092m. Three holes, hole 1146A, 1146B, 1146C, were drilled at site 1146. The depths of three holes are 607 mbsf (hole 1146A), 245 mbsf (hole 1146B) and 599 mbsf (hole 1146C). Three lithologic units were identified at site 1146. These units mainly consist of clay and nannofossil clay.After various indexes including constant elements, trace elements and organic gases in core sediment of site 1146 were analyzed, the changes of their vertical section curves of content with depth were studied and the potential reasons were also discussed in the paper.The sediment environment and matter sources of sediment in the area were determined through the study on distribution model figure of lanthanon in the core 1146.The change of ancient climate and environment was speculated according to the content change of CaCO3 on the section of hole 1146.The correlation, clustering and factor analysis were made on constant elements, trace elements, light hydrocarbones and other organic indexes. The trace elements, constant elements and phase states of elements, which could indicate organic matter and combination gas, were found.The drilling core of site 1143 was also studied in some degree in the paper.
