Remote Sensing Technology, as a kind of high and new technology, has been applied in many research fields, and it has become more and more important and feasible, especially in LUCC research. The Northwest Yunnan Alpine Valley Region (Three- paralleled -river Region) is in the northwest Yunnan province. It has many characteristics such as high mountains and deep gorges paralleled, the obvious dieresis in vertical, the diversity of ecology, the plenty of biology, the frail ecology environment, kinds of national culture, the straggling economic etc. The Three Rivers in this region is very important. They are all the upper river of great river. By researching this region,we can advise the compulsive development of great river. This research, mainly by using Remote Sense, combining GIS and GPS technology, in view of the special research region, the Northwest Yunnan Alpine Valley Region (Three- paralleled -river Region), chooses a method that is appropriate for extracting LUCC dynamic information. On the basis of analyzing the extracted information, it puts forward countermeasures to make a sustainable land use.Remote Sensing analysis in geography is the main methodology used during this research. Besides, Zoning Interpretation and Sorting Outcome-Vegetation Index Subtraction are typically chosen. In some sense, it is an innovation. The outcome answers the requirement of the research job.On the whole, however, human interference plays a comparatively great role during the interpretation process, which leads to a low precision. Improvement is planned to make during following research, such as in solving the low precision problem by building the Expert Analysis System by using GIS.
