The regional reservoir evaluation mainly serves for the discovery of high producing oil-gas District, attaining to drill fewer prospect wells, take more reserve and finally increase the exploration performance. Accordingly, we start the thesis from two small oil fields of Beipu and Laoyemiao in Nanpu depression. Firstly, we analyze regional geology background of the area and find that its structure evolvement can be divided into three greatest stages: the formation and evolution of pre-tertiary basement, the lower-tertiary fault basin and the upper-tertiary depression basin. Secondly, making use of the related knowledge of the sequence stratigraphy, we divide and contrast the layers of Ed, establish two sequences stratum framework, divide it into two depositional sequences, get the conclusion that the two stratum sequences are made up of lake advance system field and lake retire system field, and divide four stratums. On the base of the analysis combining the shape of borehole log, we analyze their sedimentary system and sedimentary facies, and summarize each sedimentary model of sedimentary system, identifying 5 kinds of sand types. Meanwhile, we observe and describe the characteristic of Ed reservoir both macroscopicly and microcosmicly and conclude the characteristic of sandbody and the combination of source bed , reservoir and capping bed. Through the analysis and combination of all the former works combining the physical property of the well which show oil and gas, I propose a classifying criterion and divided the reservoir into three classes. Further more, I get the classification and distribution condition of all stratums of Ed and on the base of that I predict the favourable place of research reservoir, and definitude the optimization direction of the next exploration.
