There are ten to twenty layers clay-stone of kaolinite in stratum of car-permian in west of Shandong. Most of them output as coping of coal-bed or soleplate of coal-bed or clay-stone in coal-bed. So we can mining coal and clay-stone of kaolinite at one time, and it is a lower cost of mining and high value in use and abundance mine resource. But there are high content of impurity of Fe and Ti in ledge. High impurity will affect the chemical using value of clay-stone of kaolinite. Removing impurity of Fe and Ti is always the key step in the abstracting mine. And studying of configuration of Fe and Ti in clay-stone of kaolinite is straightly connecting the chose means of removing Fe and Ti and fellow use of clay-stone of kaolinite. We use many means, such as research of field and sampling and observing row sample and analyses of using microscope and X-ray and diffuse reflect spectrum and chemistry and EPMA, in lucubrating the clay-stone of kaolinite being position and the character of geognosy and the character of the chemical composition. The next step is using the results of analyses to analyses the rule of Fe and Ti in the "A" layer clay-stone of kaolinite and the clay-stone in middle part of Taiyuan formation and clay-stone of kaolinite in the base of Taiyuan formation.The result of studying is that the minerals of Fe in A layer clay-stone of kaolinite are hematite, goethite and siderite, but the most is hematite and goethite. The minerals of Ti are anatase and ilmenite. The character of the content of Ti in this layer is law and stabilization. The content of Fe and Ti in clay-stone of kaolinite in the middle part of Taiyuan formation is law and stabilization. Minerals of Fe include of pyrite and siderite, but pyrite is the most. Minerals of Ti include of anatase and rutile. The minerals of Fe and Ti in clay-stone of kaolinite in the base part of Taiyuan formation include siderite, hematite, goethite and purite. But the most is siderite. The minerals of Ti are ilmenite and brookite. The forms of Fe and Ti in kaolinite are absorption and structure types. The contents of them are less than 0.234% and 0.020%.
