The Study On Spatial Decision Support System Based On GIS And Its Application In City Facilities Planning

The Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS) is a new field on the basis of Geographical Information System (GIS) and Decision Support System (DSS). More and more attention has been paid to the technology of SDSS in China as well as in the world. In my opinion, Spatial Decision Support System bases on GIS, treating driving of model-base as the core. With it, we can resolve the problem about half structure as well as none structure of special position. If we convene both of them to one, it can provide us quickly, directly, intuitionistic and visual decision in many levels.In my paper, I firstly introduce some theory and specialty about GIS including some main function about Maplnfo, at the same time introduce the theories of DSS, pointing out SDSS being the necessary trend of their development. Five aspects of SDSS are studied as following. Through comparing of the three different methods of constructing SDSS by integrating GIS and DSS, bring up some own opinions. Through discussing the importance of the visualization in developing man-machine interactive interface, put forward a framework of Man-machine interactive system based on GIS. Inquire into the organization pattern of spatial date and attribute data, spatial date are managed by the GIS technology through forming map layer, attribute data still are run by relation database . Through studying mode of model organization and storage, apply model-base and dictionary-base to solve it, but model-base management is in need of technique of database. Some methods are brought up in order to solve data integration of SDSS .Finally this paper introduces some knowledge of city planning, studying some common models and decision methods , especially GIS spatial analysis method.Some concrete work including the total design and main module has been done on SDSS of city facilities planning based on GIS.
