| Based on the development and current conditionof navigation map database, this paper analyzes and studies the data criterion, data model and data storing structure of navigation database. An experimental database is established based on the Maplnfo software and the road network of Fuxin city, which serves for route finding. In the last, four searching Algorithms are introduced and compared; a route searching system is developed with Visual Microsoft C + + in the base of the experimental database.
