The near area around Aibihu lake was selected to be the research district in this dissertation. Through researching phenomenon of LUCC, environmental impact, and the value of ecosystem services, the drives of changes and environmental evolution principle with LUCC were analyzed. This dissertation tried to research the evolution of eco-environment quality in this way combounding LUCC and VES, to provide some new ideas to protect the environment of oasis in arid area and keep the sustainable development.Based on the RS data, using GIS technology, referencing other documents and the previous relevant research results, and field surveying, the classifying samples which were used to help to classify the images from 1979-1999 by eyes were constructed. After the above, the maps of LUCC were gotten. With GA technology, the area data were obtained. Then the principle of LUCC were analyzed, and the estimating model of ecosystem services which was used to estimate the VES in research area was constructed. In this dissertation, using Markov model to predict the future evolution of LUCC and VES under two different situations. Based on the analysis of VES, the evolution of eco-environmental qualify was analyzed. Finally, the impact of environment was analyzed, and the drives of LUCC and environmental evolution were analyzed.Through the above analysises, the following results were obtained:1. Using RS/GIS could develop the way to get and analyze data, and give a strong help to improve the LUCC research.2. Through the analysises on number and speed of change, the principle of each classification for 21 years was gotten; through the analysises on transition matrix, the principle of transition of each classification was obtained.3. Using two models, some results were obtained.4. Using Markov model, the evolution from 2010-2050 was predicted under two different conditions.The predicting results were different, which showed the conditions in 1979-1991 were different from that in 1991-1999.5. This dissertation advised a new way that the VES could be used to reflect eco-envitonmental quality and analyzed to research the evolution of eco-environmental qualify.6. In the period of 1979-1991, the natural and humanatic facts were bad for the eco-environment. Under this condition, the eco-environmental quality will fade. In the period of 1991-1999, the natural and humanatic facts were better than before for the eco-environment. Under this condition, the eco-environmental quality will be better.7. In the shot period of 21 years, humanatic facts were the main drives.
