Xiejiagou gold deposit is located in the Jiaodong gold deposit concentrative region which is abundant in gold deposits in China. According to the viewpoint that the gold deposit is formed in multi-period and multi-stage, we have studied Au and the elements related with Au such as the macro elements, trace elements, and rare earth elements. Finally we got the elements'background value of the Xiejiagou gold deposit. The vertical zoning sequence and the characteristics of superimposed halos of the gold deposit have also been studied. A method and technology to locate blind ore in the depth and periphery of gold digging has been provided. During the metamorphism of the primary rock in the Xiejiagou gold deposit region, CaO, Na2O, MgO, MnO, etc were taken out, while SiO2, K2O, Fe2O3, H2O+, CO2, etc were obsorbed. Au, Ag, As, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn, Hg, etc are concentrated, but W, Sb, Co, Ni, Mn, Mo, etc are not concentrated by the effect of the hydrotherm. The gold metallogeny is related with the effect of deep magma, and the element Au probably comes from the lower crust or the upper mantle. The trace elements are also been analyzed by means of mathematical geology, three components are extracted by the method of principal analysis, F1: Au, Ag, As, Cu, Pb, Mo, Bi, Ni, Co, Mn, F2: Zn, Hg, Mn, Sb, F3: Au, Ag, Cu, -Sb, -Mn, and the combination of the elements are analogical with the result of the cluster analysis. By analyzing the rare-earth element data of rock and ore in this area, we convince that the REE distribution pattern belongs to the type of LREE enrichment and HREE decrease. There is a decrease in Eu & Ce, and the level of total REE is lower compared with other areas. Conversely, the pattern of the ore contained higher Au belongs to the type of HREE enrichment and LREE decrease. The average content of Au is 2.67g/t of the Xiejiagou gold deposit, which is as 111 to 743 times as the average content of the Jiaodong stratum and is 764 times higher by contrast with the Clark Value. From the analysis data, we'v gotten the result of the vertical zoning of primary halos of the Xiejiagou gold deposit, the primary geochemical zone of line 105 is Zn-Sb-Mn-Hg-Pb-Ni-As-Co-Mo -Au-Ag-Cu-Bi-W, line 110 is Cu-Au-W-Pb-As-Ag-Bi-Zn-Co-Mo-Ni-Sb-Mn-Hg, and the total primary geochemical zone is Sb-Mn-Cu-Mo-Au-Ni-W-Bi-As-Co-Pb-Zn-Ag-Hg. We can find that the vertical zoning of primary halos are in abnormal sequence and also there is a sudden change in some geochemical parameter at a specific level in the ore body, this can be interpreted as reflecting a large extension of the mineralization at depth or it signifies that there is probably a blind ore or a second zone of gold enrichment at depth. Depending on the characteristics of the superimposed halos and the geochemical parameter, an ideal model and the common characteristics of the Xiejiagou gold deposit primary superimposed halos have been summed up. We created the prognostic rules and symbols that can be applied to the search for blind ore deposits. An effect method and technology has been supplied to prospect blind ores and increase the reserves in this region.
