Discontinuous Deformation Analysis And Its Application In North China

In this paper, the theory system of Discontinuous Deformation Analysis is expatiated and the specific math model is deduced. On the basis of the theory of DDA, we studied how to get the deformation movement information of block system with geodetic data. This method permits the dividing of elastic blocks with varies shapes according to the specific situation, and large deformation is considered as the accumulation of small ones. A mathematical and mechanic modal is set up to simulate the deformation and movement of the crust, and some simulative examples are given to improve its feasibility.Then, with practical geological structure situation and GPS data, we simulated the displacement field and discussed the infection of medium parameter and the number of displacement restriction points to the result. At last, a series of figures is given to show the crust movement and deformation and some conclusions are drawn.
