The Research Of Distributed And Interoperable WebGIS Based On Web Service

Distributed and interoperable WebGIS is the inevitable trend of the development of current GIS.However,the existing distributed WebGIS solution still has a very big limitation and seriously hinderes the GIS development.The paper conducts comparisons on the technology of constructing WebGIS and domestic and foreign WebGIS software platform;analyzes the advantages and the disadvantages of these technical and these softwares;Introduces Extensible Markup Language XML and its correlation technology, Geography Markup Language GML, the Web service and interoperable agreement that OGC formulates;constructs distributed and interoperable WebGIS prototype system based on web service,realizes the spatial data interoperability, solves the problem of multiple source and isomerism space data share and interoperability.It carries on the detailed research and analysis on analyzing spatial data, database's memory way of XML, the transformation from XML to GML , the transformation from GML to SVG and how to compile web service and so on.
