Land Using Data Sharing Research Based On XML Systematized Techniques

Firstly, in this paper the importance and necessity for the land using data sharing have been expatiated amply. The land using data sharing, which refers to two main concepts, has been summarized. The two concepts are acquisition and processing of land using data as well as application of land using data. In WebGIS, there are two corresponding roles, namely, data yielder and data user or consumer. The hard-core of land using data sharing is the share of data, and how to provide data with high practicality is closed linked with data acquisition and updating. Based on the land using data updating and building database of Xingqin County, Guangdong province, the acquiring technology for land using data relating closely to land using data sharing, which includes updating investigating technology for land using and constructing method for land using database, is discussed. Then based on the general analysis of the actuality of land using data sharing and aimed at existent problems of land using data sharing, the systematic configuration for land using data sharing based on XML systematized techniques is put forward. XML systematized techniques supporting and realizing the system, including the correlative concepts and technologic character of XML, GML, WebService, SVG is comprehensive studied, and the advantage of land using data sharing, which is realized by the application of XML correlative technology, is summarized. At the end of the paper, according to the land using data (the MAPGIS data) of Guangdong province, the data sharing system has been realized partly. The researching effort is shown mainly as following aspects in this paper:1. The importance and necessity of land using data sharing is expatiated perfectly, and associating with the practical situation, the existing problem in land using data sharing at present is analyzed.2. According to the sharing problem we facing, the systematic configuration for land using data sharing based on XML systematized techniques is put forward, and a part of configuration has been realized, thus the feasibility and advantage of the land using data sharing based on XML systematized techniques is validated.3. During the course of realizing experimental system in the paper, the land using data of Guangdong province was adopted as the experimental data, the conversion from MAPGIS data to GML data is studied. For the MAPGIS software has shared a majority of national CIS market nowadays, the research of conversion from MAPGIS data to GML data is of great practical value.
