| This paper analyses the necessity of establishing the integration geo-information platform for land planning and management in the land planning and management department. It brings forward the whole aim of the platform, then designs the structure. Three parts are included in this platform, management and maintenance, query and Web distribution of spatial data. The main task of the first part is to establish, manage and update the spatial database. The second is to query the database which could obtain any data quickly and correctly. It could realize the connection with OA and other system as well. The last part makes it possible to view spatial data through internet, including basic geo-data and thematic geo-data. At the same time, it provides some functions, query, help online, etc. In addition, this paper introduces and discusses the technology of the interoperability of spatial data. Combining with the interoperability extend of ArcGIS9.0, the author makes an experiment in Wuhan integration geo-information platform of land planning and management, which indicates that the technology has benefits on promoting the utility for urban spatial data , and interoperable GIS is the trend of GIS development.
