The Petroleum generation kinetics is one of the most important research aspects in international oil-gas geochemistry fields. In this study, we selected many types of sources rock such as coal, oil shale, marine shale and bitumen from different place of China. Hydrocarbon generation thermal simulation tests and determination of the related kinetics parameter of the selected source rocks have been carried out in an open system (Rock-Eval 6). And we compares the features of hydrocarbon generation of different types source rock in open system. Using some samples' kinetics parameter to the Permian source rocks of northeast of Sichuan Basin, simulates the primary hydrocarbon generation history and calculates hydrocarbon generating quantity. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Some important kinetics parameters of the different types source rocks.Coal: The sample, M-FS ,M-FX,M-GY and M-TYZ, The activate energy distribution of the source rock for the hydrocarbon generation are:41-62Kcal/mol.,41 ~ 65Kcal/mol,49 ~ 73 Kcal/mol, 42~65Kcal/mol.Oil shale: The sample Y-FS,Y-MM and Y-WNMQ. The activate energy distribution of the source rock for the hydrocarbon generation are: 38~61 Kcal/mol, 38~58Kcal/mol, 49 ~ 69Kcal/mol.Marine shale: The sample H-SEG and H-HB. The activate energy distribution of the source rock for the hydrocarbon generation are: 42~66KcaI/mol, 44~68KcaI/mol.Bitumen: The sample L-WEH, The activate energy distribution of the sample for the hydrocarbon generation are 40~57Kcal/mol.2. The simulation results show that the relationship between the hydrocarbon generating rate and the Ro(%) didn't be affected by the temperature increased rate. In the common geologic temperature increased rate conditions, take the hydrocarbon generating rate from 20% to 80% as the source rocks' main hydrocarbon generating period. The main hydrocarbon generating period of coal M-FS,M-FX,M-GY,M-TYZ are Ro(%)=0.64~0.8%,Ro(%)=0.73~1.4%,Ro(%)=1.01~ 2.09%,Ro(%)=0.73~ 1.18%.The range of Ro(%) was wide, that shows the velocity of hydrocarbon generation of coal was slow;The main hydrocarbon generating period of oil shale Y-FS,Y-MM,Y-WNMQ are Ro(%)=0.65~0.75%,Ro(%)=0.52~0.68%,Ro(%)=0.95~ 1.17%. The range of Ro(%) was narrow, that shows the velocity of hydrocarbon generation of oil shale was fast. The main hydrocarbon generating period of the marine shale H-SEG and H-HB are Ro(%)=0.7~1.01%,Ro(%)=0.75~1.14%.The velocity of hydrocarbon generation of marine shale is faster than coal but slower than oil shale. The main hydrocarbon generating period of bitumen L-WEH are Ro(%)=0.73~0.84%.3 The simulation results of open system shows that oil shale and marine shale has ended hydrocarbon generation before the geological temperature reached 170℃.But coal still has enormous hydrocarbon been generated after the temperature higher than 170℃. It indicates that oil and marine shale has obvious primary hydrocarbon generation and secondary hydrocarbon generation but the coal's primary hydrocarbon generation and secondary hydrocarbon generation was continuous.4. The hydrocarbon-generating history of the Permian source rocks from the northeastern ofSichuan basin has been simulated by the kinetics parameters of the samples M-GY and H-HB, with the combination of burial and geothermal history of 84 wells. The results shows that the main hydrocarbon generating period of the carbonate sources rock and muddy sources rocks in lower Permian, and the muddy source rocks in upper Permian started at -220Ma and ended at -160Ma. The main hydrocarbon generating period of the coal sources rocks of Longtan formation in upper Permian started at -160Ma and ended at -135Ma. In four series of sources rocks, the carbonate sources rock in lower Permian and the muddy sources rocks in upper Permian has enormous hydrocarbon generating quantity. But the hydrocarbon generating quantity of the muddy sources rocks in lower Permian and coal sources rocks of Longtan formation in upper Permian was small.5.
