Education curriculum is the characteristic of normal school, and the important ensure of achieving the training goal of normal school. In the background that physics teachers in middle schools need more teaching capability in the specialization of teacher's vocation and the reform of curriculum, it is very significative to study the setting of education curriculum, including the actuality, existent problems and ways of refonn.Basing on the above, the first study of this article will try to find out the actuality of the setting of education curriculum from analyzing the teaching plan and textbooks, and find out existent problems or insufficiencies from transverse and longitudinal compare, and discuss the reason from individual talks. The second study will try to find out the effect of the setting of education curriculum form investigating students of normal school and physics teachers in middle school, and hope to put forward some proposals for the reform of education curriculum.The results of the two studies:(1)All normal schools open the required courses of education curriculum in our country ,that involve "pedagogy", "psychology", "the theory and method of the middle school physics education" and "education exercitation". The period proportion of these courses in the all courses is 7.2%, and the credit hour proportion is 8.7%.(2) The subjects and the proportion of education curriculum is less-in the transverse and longitudinal compare. But we find A majority of students and physics teachers hope to increase the subjects and the proportion.(3)The evaluation of students and physics teachers about education curriculum is comparatively worse, and the reason is that the content and the teaching mode don't meet their need. And they think the content in the textbooks of education curriculum is too extensive and too theoretic.
