A Research On The Geographical Information System Key Technology Of Maritime Affairs

Marine GIS for watercraft monitoring is developed on Beidou Positioning System (BPS). It is of great value to the marine management and application which combines the BPS developed by ourselves, increases our informatize level and insures the safety and efficiency.This paper discusses the key techniques of maritime GIS at domestic and international current situations. It points out the main aspects of the solution and makes lots of improvements.
