Guided by the theories of carbonate sedimentology, paleontology stratigraphy, reservoir geology and digenesis, there is an extensive study of sedimentary facies and reservoir of Feixianguan formation in lower Triassic series, east part in east Sichuan . Multiple method of point, line and surface, field and indoor, macroanalysis and microanalysis and technology of cathode luminescence, mercury penetration , sotope, body of casting, mercury penetration have been used in the research. The research includes formation, types and characteristics of rocks and sedimentary facies (facies, sufacies, microfacies), distribution and evolution of sedimentary facies, sedimentary facies model, eseential characteristics and distribution of reservoir, and the relations between sedimentary facies and reservoir. It is believed that east part in East Sichuan was locacted in a carbonate platform connected with land in Feixianguan period, early Triassic, The platform succeeded the sedimentary framework of the early period of Late Permian and evolved into homogeneous tidal flat-lagoon in Fei4 segment, based on the research of field profile and indoor, petroleum drilling, regional geologic feature and the existed research achievements. The carbonate platform connected with land environment (facies) could be further classified into 6 subenvironments: tidal fiat, restricted platform, point bars in platform, open-platform, bars in platform margin , and slop. On the base of study of type and characteristics of sedimentary facies (subfacies and microfacies ), a distribution law of the sedimentary facies in vertical and horizontal and the sedimentary model are established. In addition, lithology, porosity and permeability feature, the space characteristics of reservoir are described and the...
