With field ourcrop, modern sedimentation investigation and dense pattern study as theoretical guidance, coupled with coring, logging, water in-take profiled and individual layer test data, this paper addresses the reservoir structure style, fault dip, distribution and confining ability in Block Shen67 by using precise structure interpretation, micro structure characteristics due to single sand relief change, including minor highs, small structures and faults, residual oil of microstructures and the relation between structure and residual oil; analyzes the effect of interbeds, vertical sand rhythm, porosity and permeability on reservoir heterogeneity by using percolation geologic analysis in aspects of intra- and inter-layer and planar direction in Block Shen67. On the basis of geological study on strata, micro structure, micro sedimentary facies, reservoir heterogeneity and distribution in this block, the reservoir flow unit is studied through flow units classification. Models of reservoir scale, subzone scale and 3D geology are set up based on sedimentary model, structure model and heterogeneity model by combining logging interpretation result. Various parameters and spatial distribution of the target zones in Block Shen67 are almost understood. A relatively accurate geological model has been established to reflect reservoir heterogeneity, thus made clear reservoir structure type, sand distribution, continuity and connectivity in the study area. This study is of significant meaning to oilfield exploration and development, improving exploration success ratio and recovery factor.
