Studying Academic Prosperity Through The Formation Of The Geotectonics School In China

In the middle period of 20 century, during the development of Chinese geology, one academic prosperous situation had arisen in geotectonics. Though this condition existed very short, the reason for that and the relation between social environment and theory its reflected can not be neglected. The aim of this paper is to inspect the reason and summary the condition that good for academic prosperity.This paper is to analyze the creative background, formative process, basic standpoint and theories system of five schools, including theory of geomechanics, theory of polycyclic, theory of fault-block tectonics, diwa theory and wavy mosaic tectonics hypothesis. It also inquiry into biography material, academic result and the academic road of five beginners. Taking history as evidence, the writer also observed and analyzed the reason for academic prosperity with the sight of history, the vision of geology, the way of studying society. After that, got the four impartment basic factors: good academic atmosphere, excellent scholar's character, team's function and training mechanism, the direction role of talented policy.At the end of the paper, discussed the relationship among academic prosperity, social environment and talented person grow up, namely academic prosperity depend on the social environment and talented person, and the basic motivation for academic prosperity is the appearance of talented person. Next, discussed the importance of social need environment, the fierce competition environment and the democracy freedom environment. Because the middle period of last century has the three important environments and the excellent scholar's character, so that make academic prosperity appear. At present, the reason for the academic prosperity can't appear is not lack the environmental guarantee.
