The research on " Fundamental Physics" study of Xinjiang minority university students is mainly based on the following three factors: One is because the minority university students' entrance exam physical score is much low, and moreover one year preparatory course after they enter the college, the students no longer keep contact with the fundamental Math., Physics and Chemistry, so they forget so much , moreover the students lack studying methods, the thinking skills and the study strategy, and these overall make them hard to continue learning it. This has seriously affected the higher education routine work; Secondly, minority students are not learning actively, the lack of learning methods, the lack of previewing , absence for attending classes and the lack of reviewing strategy, and their ability to learn is too low, and in addition the present education of students learning strategies is neglected. On the participation of the "basic physics" teaching, 1 found out many perplexing problems in my teaching, such as the influence of their low level of Chinese, their emotion motive , the teaching process to their study strategy, Thirdly is the urgent need to high level Chinese and specialized minority leaders. Based on the above factors, and under my tutor's indicating, 1 decided to choose the Xinjiang minority university students "Foundation Physics" study strategy research as the thesis topic.The full text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter elaborates three questions: research background; research motive and significance; the summary to the related questions of the research. The second chapter is to take grade -o4 students of Xinjiang Normal University as a sample, At first the individual interview for some students, including teachers teaching the related courses and the students, trying to find out the realistic problems on "foundation physics" teaching and learning, then design the questionnaire , the survey of the questionnaire, the name of the questionnaire is "The Study Questionnaire of Xinjiang area higher Education physics and non-physics university students on "Foundation Physics" . Through the study for minority university grade -04 student's present situation of Xinjiang normal university , 1 have a further discussion on how the Xinjiang area minority university students study the "foundation physics" and how to apply the study strategy, because the student's study process is the process to use the study strategy , therefore 1 mainly carry on my questionnaire according to the study process, that is: the pre- class preparation strategy, the classroom study strategy and after class consolidated strategy, which was promoted by Zhang Da Jun. meanwhile because Xinjiang minority university students have serious language barrier in studying physics, the questionnaire also design some questions according to the minority university student's study characteristic from language, emotion motive etc, and using SPSS software to analyze and summarize the questionnaire. The third chapter has analyzed the questionnaire and summarized the interview content and put forward the proposal. The fourth chapter analyzed some specific cases to the Xinjiang minority university students physics study and try to propose the suggestion, and to ensure the Xinjiang minority university students to have the sufficient study strategy, to monitor, to control, to adjust the study process, to enhance the Xinjiang minority university students to learn physics more sufficiently, to serve for teaching practice of Xinjiang minority students education.
