Abstract: This paper discussed the situation, characters of tungsten mineral resources and the industry development of Chongyi region, Ganzhou city, Jiangxi province. Using the economical forecast method of mineral resources, this paper synthetically analyzed the condition of certain mineral resources in certain regions by studying the geological features, technical performance, market supply-demand structure, political, economic and the environmental factors etc. The tungsten mineral resources development of Chongyi was quantitatively evaluated in the view of typical mining areas, current status and trend were also investigated qualitatively and quantitatively by qualitatively describing the existence of tungsten in typical areas, in combination with the local economic development. As the Resource sciences should be researched in certain regions, to investigate the tungsten mine of Chongyi, then firstly the structure and function of the mineral resource system in this area should be studied, the coupling among geology, economics, environmentology and sociology should be recognized, the relationship among different kinds of resources and their functions for the whole of this area, the regional relations and restrictions should also be analyzed. The use of tungsten mine development and evaluation system in this area is a research sample of regional mineral resources. According to this study, the resources guarantee of the tungsten mine is 43.80 years and the potential value is 6,378,000,000 Yuan. Typical mine areas have high economy potential, completed mining technology and good processing performance.Upon the resource evaluation of the tungsten mine in Chongyi, this paper discussed the social and economic benefits together with the status of environmental protection. An optimal project should be selected basing on the current conditions and could provide scientific basis for optimizing the mineral resources planning together with the distribution of mining production, for making the strategy decision about the long-term development. The conclusion is of certain great importance for utilizing the resources economically and intensively.
