Research On Methods For Multi-scale Spatial Data Integration

This Paper is concerned with Multi-Scale spatial data integration to discuss. Firstly, we discussed the expression of multi-Scale data model and the conception model, while we give out the logical model of the vector model, then designed the storage model in spatial database. Secondly, we described the feature-based spatial data model, combined the spatial data management in object-relation model, then discussed it's realization and it's characteristic. Based on these, we discussed the Oracle Spatial and Oracle InterMedia, then we storage the spatial data in the database, and created the quard-tree index and multi-scale R-tree index. In the end, we take the"Multi-Scale spatial data integration system"for example ,give out the solution of the multi scale data integration.
