The Longnan area in Gansu whose geological condition is complex,is one of region where the frequency of geological disaster is highest in our country, simultaneously is also one of place where landslide damming of river disaster frequently occurs. But as a result of the influence and restriction on each kind of condition, the local research on landslide dam isn't able to satisfy in very great degree the local need on engineering construction.This paper begins at the analysis on the distributed characteristic of landslide damming of river in the middle reaches of the Bailong River,compreliensively introduces the type characteristic,formation condition and geology environment effect of landslide dam; and takes the landslide of Feng'anshan as the object, systematically has studied these condition of the landslide, for example stratum lithology, geologic structure, topography and landform, and hydrologic geology, analyzes with emphasis the characteristic of landslide from shape characteristic, material composition, structure characteristic and so on; meantime combining the evolution mechanism of the landslide and the formation condition on landslide dam, the paper forecasts the tendency on the feng'anshan landslide by applying the principle of dynamics mechanism in landslide.The feng'anshan landslide is the huge landslide group controlled and influenced by the fault. The shape structure is complicated and the tectonic movement is active, so the evolved mechanism of the landslide is extremely complex. Through the research of the distribution rule and type characteristic on landslide dam that area, the paper have a more thorough understanding of the geological environment on Feng'anshan; according to the geological environment characteristic of the landslide area and the distortion feature of the landslide, complying with the geology environment evolution angle, the paper has made the simulation extrapolation on the landslide history; with the method of numerical simulation and the limiting equilibrium computation, the article has carried on the simulation in the steady state and computation in the unstable index; simulates the rate process of landslide dam with discrete element method, forecasts and calculates the altitude of landslide damming of the river by the viewpoint of dynamics mechanism in landslide.Finally,the corresponding damming landsides treatments and measures have been advanced on the basis of the feature of damming landsides, formation mechanism and the result of computation, which provide the scientific proof for G212 passing this complicated region. At the same time, it also can provide the reference for other engineering construction.
