In this paper, 64 kinds of strains isolated from roots, stems and leaves of Ficus carice L. 64 strains in 13 genuses were classified, identified, and belonged to thirteen genera, six families, and three orders according to their morphological and micro-structure characters. Alternaria sp., and Fusarium sp. are dominant endophytic fungi population in Ficus carice which occupy 52.78% in 64 strains. It showed that the quantity, species, and distribution of the endophytic fungus varied in different parts of Ficus carice L.Antimicrobial activity of 64 strains endophytic fungi and their secondary metabolites was screened with two kinds of germs, two kinds of yeasts and six kinds of pathogenic fungi as tested bateria. We chose FL24 (Alternaria sp.) and FL25(Alternaria sp.)as our target strains according to results of activity screening results. FL24 strain which was isolated from the leaves of Ficus carice L was shown to be inhibitory to six typical pathogenic fungi, two kinds of yeasts and two kinds of germs.FL24 strain with antimicrobial activity was fermented in liquid culture medium, and extracted to give 51.2g crude extract.14 compounds were obtained from the extract of FL24 by silica gel column chromatography, C18 column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, thin layer preparation chromatography and re-crystallization. On the basis of chemical reaction and spectral data analyses(UV,MS,IR,NMR,DEPT,HMBC and HMQC),5 compounds were elucidated as ergosterol(6), cerevisterol(9), cyclo-(Phe-Ser) (12),D-mannitol (14) and cyclo-(2-methyl-Alanine—2-hydroxymethyl-Phenylalanine)(7). Compound 7 was a new compound. Cyclo-(Phe-Ser) was isolated from the secondary metabolites of endophytic fungi for the first time. The Minimal Inhibition Concentration of these compounds against two kinds of germs, two kinds of yeasts and typical pathogenic fungi were mensurated. It was found that compound 1,2,7,8 had high antimicrobial activity. Compound 5 can strong restrain the bacteria and compound 2,4,6,9,10,12 had common antimicrobial activity. Compound 8 showed stronger bioactivities against Escherichia coli with MIC value of 3.13μg/ml (the MIC value of amikacin sulfate was 3.13μg/ml); Compound 7 showed stronger bioactivities against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.niveum and Phytop hthora capsic with MIC values of 6.25μg/ml (the MIC values of ketoconazole were both 3.13μg/ml), which were the antimicrobial materials in the metabolites of the culture of FL24.
