The paper dissertation mainly deal with the morphology, taxonomy, biology, faunal analysis of the Chinese Stratiomyidae. Totally 8 subfamilies, 45 genera and 199 species of the Chinese Stratiomyidae. It including 4 new records genera, 14 new species and 5 new records species for China.and 20 species known have been described (including 40 figs). Holotypes keep in the Institute of Entomology of Guizhou University, only Ruba dalia sp.nov. has been desposited in Department of biotechnology of Dali college, Yunnan province. The redescripted species and new taxa are listed as follows.New records genera : Campeprosopa Macquart; Eudmeta Wiedmann; Ruba Walker; Tinda Walker.New Records species: Campeprosopa longispina Brunetti; Clitellaria.ephippium (Fabric); Clitellaria obtuse James; Eudmeta diadematipennis, Brunetti; Ptecticus vulpianus Enderlein.New species: Chorisops duyunensis sp.nov; Evaza guizhouensis sp.nov; Evaza tangi sp. nov; Evaza weii sp.nov; Evaza nigritibialis sp. nov; Tinda liboensis sp.nov; Ruba maolana sp.nov; Ruba dalia sp.nov; Ptecticus blauer sp.nov; Ptecticus ludingensis sp.nov; Ptecticus nanlingensis sp.nov; Oxycera chishuia sp. nov; Oxycera guizhouensis sp. nov; Oxycera maolana sp.nov.Redescription: Allognosta basiflava Yang et Nagatomi; Parastratiosphemyia szichuanensis Lindner; Cyphomyia chinensis Ouchi; Ptecticus menlanurus (Walker); Hermetia illucens Linnaeus; Ptecticus aurifer (Walker); Ptecticus tenebrifer (Walker); Sargus grandis (Ouchi); Sargus metallinus Fabricius; Oxycera laniger (Seguy); Oxycera Hi Yang et Nagatomi; Prosopochrysa chousanensis Ouchi; Odontomyia guizhouensis Yang; Odontomyia sinica Yang; Oplodontha virdula (Fabricious); Oxycera lii Yang et Nagatomi. is a new male description.
