The Research And Implementation Of WebGIS Based On AJAX

The integration of GIS technique and Web brings quick development of WebGIS. The development of WebGIS realized geospatial information management and information share and promoted the industrialization and popularization of GIS. Therefore, WebGIS has already become an important isssues in GIS research.The development of remote sense technology provided high resolution remote sensing image data. People became more interested in magnanimity remote sensing image online publication, which became an complementarity of the vector map data online publication. However remote sensing image online publication is restricted by web bandwidth and speed. The slow speed of online browsing image seriously influenced the practicability of remote sensing image online publication system.This paper put forward a solution of remote sensing image online publication. The author verified the possibility of that solution by the implemention of this online publication system for remote sensing image. The results indicated that image publication system based on ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)model is a technology innovation and have a important practical value.The main conclusions are as follows:Through systematically analysis of the characteristic of several image online publication solutions, we find that synchronous interaction of traditional web application model is the reason of unsatisfied performance with which traditional publication system publicated remote sensing image.Through analysis of Ajax model we realized that AJAX Web application model would be the future development direction. We put forward a online publication system solution based on ajax and verify the possibility of that solution in theory and technology.In order to solve the problem in land use inspectation by remote sense image,We integrated AJAX model into image publication system in ArcIMS and implemented this online publication system.This system have a quicker speed, less response time and light server pressure.We get a better application result.
