Studies On Benefits Of Vegetation In Campus Forest

Referring to the achievement and the practical experience of the research ofthe urban forest, and the present situation of the relative afforestation research, theconcept of campus forest was put forward, and this paper is also based on theconsideration of the present situation and the trend of the campus afforestation ofHNAU, in accordance with the basic principle and concept of ecology. And from theabove, the subject of campus forest is defined and its research domain was formed. Inthe process of campus afforestation converting into campus forest, the criticalproblems to be solved were elicited.The paper analyzed the present situation of campus greenness and showedwhere need to correct at present, according to natural environment conditions ofHNAU. In the aspect of investigation and evaluation of HNAU campus forest plantspecies, the campus forest area was divided into 8 areas: student apartment area,teaching area, sports area, thoroughfare area, teacher apartment area, bureau area, restarea, subsidiary greenness area. The plant species of the campus forest in HNAU wasinvestigated by using per tree investigation method, at the same time, summarizing,analyzing, comparing the 8 areas of campus forest in HNAU in order to present aspecial way of thinking how to select the plant species of the campus forest in HNAU.On the basis of the investigation and evaluation of plant communities ofHNAU campus forest, 3 special plant communities in 8 areas were selected, thedifferences of the benefits in ecology and landscape made by different communitieswere compared. After making a comprehensive assessment, the patterns of HNAUcampus forest with multifunction could be built.According to the characters of HNAU campus (the natural conditions, thespecies of plants, the historical and cultural background, and the present situations ofdevelopment), especially the education and environment construction which are thecritical factors for the development of campus forest, the plan for HNAU campusforest was made and the construction patterns of the different kinds of campus forestand plant community were put forward.
