Recently, the study of geological hazard risk is a new research field that has developed and drawn more and more attention of society dangerous evaluation that some fields carried on. The hazard valuation work not only did the calamity assessment provide important reason for national economy plan and engineering construction, but also guide the work of decreasing disaster directly and will provide a scientific method to nation territory resources development, environment protection, plan and implementation of geology hazard prevention engineering. So carry on geological calamity dangerous competent evaluation for theory meaning, practical value with importance too.Geographic information system, named GIS for short, because it has the strong data processing and space to analyze etc. function, quote from the geologic hazard management and the evaluation problem as soon as, showed its superiority then and well, become a mature geoscience's method of gradual strike. In the process of study, the model of geological hazard evaluation is established by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, which can resolve effectively the indefinite characteristics of the disaster evaluation. This paper with MAPGIS6.7 carries on second developments for the platform, carry out the geologic hazard data management and evaluate an analytical mold piece.Taking Taiyuan-Xishan area province as example, the thesis has analyzed its geology environment background, chosen the main factors influencing geo-environment quality, and established the spatial graph database and property database of Taiyuan-Xishan area. Based on this system, the geo-environment quality of Taiyuan-Xishan area has been assessed, and the results show that the geo-environment quality can be classified into four classes: no dangerous, slightly dangerous, medium degree the danger and severity dangerous. So, it further indicates that the system is feasible and very practical and that the assessment models are rational.
