The traditional technologies of aerial and aerospace photogrammetry are constituted by the aerial photogrammetry with the history of more than one-hundred-year and the aerospace photogrammetry with the history of more than half a century. The traditional technologies have been quite mature and are playing an exclusive role in surveying and mapping the topographic map on national basic scale; nevertheless, both are helpless in face of mapping small-region on big scale.Currently, most units of the photogrammetry exist under the situation that only "survey" prevails but "photography" is lacking. It is necessary and rational in the early stage of technological development that aerial photography separates from survey. But, the long term of separation certainly will cause such problems as long cycle of map-making, high produce cost and so on. The original intention of the thesis is to shed a bit of light on realizing the union of the "photography" and "survey".This paper researches on the key technology of the aerial photographic system of the low altitude unmanned helicopter, which is combined with the manufacturing of "the industrialization experiment on remote sensing of unmanned aircraft and the exploitation on the corresponding applicable system (JHB05-36)", a high-technology project of Jiangsu common colleges. The main tasks of this paper are as following:1. Design the task pattern and key parameter of the aerial photography on the ground of analyzing the theories of the aerial photographic system of the low altitude unmanned helicopter.2. Use GPS OEM board, Magneto Resistive sensor and tilt sensor to integrate a portable set of position and attitude system which can meet the navigation demand of aerial photographic of the unmanned helicopter. At the same time, this system provides preferable initial value for the large-angle calculation in the photogrammetry.3. Design and actualize a set of PDA track programming software based on the analysis and conclusion about the track programming theory. Meanwhile, design and actualize a set of energy-saving system of communication link so as to guarantee the ground-to-air wireless communication.4. Concentrate on the research in the calibration technology of the non-metric digital camera. Put forward the adoption of the multi-fragmentand group-divided iteration method to calculate the coefficient of the direct linear transformation (DLT) and the calculation method of the distortion parameter on the basis of the realization of automatic survey with high precision on the control point.5. Successfully develop a set of the aerial photographic system prototype of the low altitude unmanned helicopter and complete validate experiment in two regions with satisfying outcomes.
