The engineering seismic survey mainly serves for location security appraisal of the city engineering construction, provides the construction area for the geologic structure and the underground bedrock surface distributed situation. Along with the urban rapid development, the engineering seismic survey's importance also can unceasingly promote. The seismic image is one of most main methods in engineering seismic survey. This method is approximately exploded and incepted itself, to make the subsurface direct image, it has the better utilization effect. But the engineering seismic image method is facing two difficult at present, one is that the seismic image data influenced bigger by the external interference and the surface factor, two is the seismic image data's processing has not quite good method. These two points cause the low interpretation accuracy, therefore we need to analyze and summary abnormal phenomenon characteristics in the engineering seismic section, assists enhances the accuracy of explanation.This article takes enhancing the accuracy of the engineering seismic data interpretation as a goal. When carries on the characteristic withdraws of the engineering seismic data, has introduced the higher-order statistics method, analyzes the higher-order statistics characteristic from the higher-order statistics angle. Through contrast and analysis to obtain the differences of the higher-order statistics between each kind of phenomenon as well as the standard seismic data, these characteristics can be used to help distinguish these phenomena. under premise of the higher-order statistics characteristic analysis in section, proposed the bispectrum energy method to determine possibly structure exceptionally seismic data scope; Moreover when research, discovered that corresponding relations between the higher-order statistics characteristic and the abnormal phenomenon has the multi- possibility, Therefore proposed each kind of higher-order statistics unites analyze and distinguish seismic phenomena as the basic principle, these two points are the higher-order statistics method research innovation in the engineering seismic data's characteristic analysis.Indicated through the actual data application, the higher-order statistics method which studied in the article took as one auxiliary method, when characteristic analysis it manifested differences between each kind of abnormal phenomenon, to make sure distinguish these, reduced the artificial perceptual explanation, thus enhanced the accuracy of data interpretation.
