Since reform and opening up, China's central and local governments make positive and effective efforts for " inviting investment". In the various measures, all regions share improving the transport level. Therefore, this article researched the impaction of the transportation to the inflow of regional foreign direct investment combined with the actual situation of Qingdao City. This article laid stress on the theoretical and empirical analysis, in order to get a more complete result. For the sample is not big enough and the variable cannot fully explain the situation, the article used gray correlation analysis to measure the effect of transportation on the inflow of regional foreign direct investment. The research results show that the effect is strong, but with their development, the effect has a gradually decreasing trend. And among the correlations of the four modes of transportation with foreign direct investment, aviation's is in the highest degree. Therefore, we conclude that as a service industry, transportation can enhance the regional advantages and promote the inflow of regional foreign direct investment, especially the modern mode of transportation.
