The technique of dust conveying system has been widely applied in industry,its technical study also has been increasing importance,But because of the complexity of the fluid motion in the transmission,there are still lots of difficulties unable to overcomed in the research of dust conveying at present.Investigations on multiphase dust conveying usually include experimental research and theoretic research in the current.Both of these two methods have limitation,for example, some calculation of conveying parameters mostly depends on the empirical equations in the experimental research which leads to the limitation, which is difficult to obtain the general equations .Moreover,the theoretic researches are short of accuracy because of the lots of predigestions in the process of deduction.Therefore,in this thesis,simulation study which is carried on the process of solid particles conveying in the pipeline based on experimental and theoretical researches in order to find out the rules of movement and the accretion in the pipeline and seek for the methods to reduce the deposition rate of the solid particles in the mutiphase dust conveying and the approaches of avoiding the pipeline jamming.This paper introduces the theoretical knowledge about computational fluid dynamics and computational procedures which are needed in the numerical simulation.It is successful to apply the Reynolds Stress Model in the calculation of the movement of the massive particles in the pipeline.The computational results is consistent with the related experimental results and more vividly than the experiment to show the particle tracks.In order to complete the simulation of the gas-solid flow and to forecast the deposition rate of the particles, my thesis adopts the basic multiphase model—DPM, which is used to compute two kinds of different particles tracks with the help of the CFD software in the commercial computing section under the Lagrange coordinate system.What's more, my thesis also uses the C programming language to compute the accretion.The results of the numerical computation include pressure distribution,accretion distribution diagram and velocity vector pictures etc.Comparison between the simulating results and the experimental result shows good agreement with the material .The paper also includes an important formula about reentrainment of dust.The accretion of the particles and the characteristics of the two-phase flow dynamics are discussed by computational fluid dynamics method based on the theory of the gas-solid flow in this paper. A series of significative results are obtained.The research shows that the numerical simulation of the deposition of the solid particles in the process of the dust conveying is successful.It can complement the experimental and theoretical researches and has a positive effect to enhance the technique of dust conveying.
