Three-dimensional visualization modeling technology has been widely used in the mines design and production abroad, but rarely used in domestic design institute and the mines. Compared with some foreign mining software in the domestic metal mines, this article take the Shaanxi Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit as an example,research on how to use Surpac software in the domestic metal mine deposits'construction of 3-dimensions visualization model.This article from the stratum and the structure, the ore body characteristic, the ore characteristic, near ore l-rock alteration and ore deposit origin several aspects has carried on the summary analysis to the Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit geological feature. On this basis, in accordance with Surpac software's modelling flow, has constructed the 3-dimensions models for Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit, including geological database, the solid model (orebody model, the fault plane model, terrain model, the stratum model, the tunnel model.) and the grade model. Geological database, in accordance with the analysis of table structure, the establishment of the database space, the data entry process for construction. The solid model, through research and analysis solid model of principles and processes, constructing the solid model of Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit, and summarying some experiences on how to build complex geological model of entities (complex, irregular geological body, branch of the phenomenon, and pinch closed the deal with the phenomenon). The grade model aspect, in the orebody model's foundation, proposed the construction personal status model's plan, uses the point blank range law for the block phantom estimate value, has constructed the Pb, Zn and Cu grade model of Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit.The 3-dimensions models for Yinmusi lead-zinc deposit will display the image of surface and deep geological exploration and mining projects visual information, not only can guide the mine design, production management, but also based on the model for further research. The geological database has many functions, such as in the three-dimensional space demonstration geological data, the geological interpretation and the section plane personal status computation, the basic geological statistics and the analysis, the linear regression analysis, line profile document output and so on. Solid models on deposit, graphics display and prospecting project design have an important role. The grade model has the inquiry block body attribute, according to the attribute for the model coloration, to carry on resources reserves functions automatically and so on. In the model construction's complete process, the problems encountered by summarizing analysis, summed up a set method to constructe 3-dimensions lead-zinc mine deposit models based on Surpac.
